Titan Super Talon
The History: The original Titan Talon was one of the world’s first long range capable and ultra-efficient 3D printed UAVs. There were many other printable models out there, but none truly focused on maximizing efficiency, large battery carrying capacity, and endurance.
Introducing The Super Talon: Focused on sharpening long range capabilities, it features a slightly larger 1.5m wingspan with a slew of upgrades including an even more streamlined fuselage, better wire management, lower parasitic and induced drag, larger electronics bays under the wings, a modular nose, and multiple options for the canopy. The large wing bays allow for mounting components such as VTXs and RXs with ample antenna separation. The entire aircraft can be printed supportless within a matter of days on a single printer. The Super Talon was designed to replace our Talon V2 and V3 based on user feedback and feature requests. It can easily do 100km out and back with a total achievable flight time of 4+ hours and range of 250km+ with a 4S6P 18650 Li-Ion battery.
The Super Talon easily accommodates a 4S6P or 6S4P 18650 21000mah battery, with space for more if you dare!
The rear motor mount is sleek, adds no drag, and features a slot to route the wires underneath
Multiple canopy options allow for mounting a pan/tilt system, SIYI A8 or a pitot tube
The modular nose allows for mounting analog or digital cameras, as well as a pitot tube
Drag reduction was a major point of focus when designing the Super Talon, as evident by the smooth radius on wing joins and stabilizer joins
