Titan Raven
It’s unlikely you’ll find another model aircraft like the Titan Raven. Its twin-pusher motor layout and shallow v-tail make it truly unique – giving it a distinct look in the sky that is sure to stir up interest. Coming in at 1.6 meters of wingspan, this bird is capable of multiple hours of mixed agility flight. Speaking of agility, the Raven cuts through the air like a hot knife through butter – with purpose and excellent handling. Extensive CFD analysis went into creating Raven, giving it the unique look while preserving pitch, roll, and especially yaw stability. For ideal yaw control and turn coordination, we recommend using differential thrust. Not only can the wings be removed but also the stabilizers in the tail, making it easy to carry along to your favorite flying spots. As with all of our models, antenna separation is maximized via large bays underneath the wings for the VTX and RX. Print settings:
LWPLA parts should be single wall, and 3-4% cubic subdivision for lighter weight. Use best judgement based on each part and its function
High temp (Polycarbonate or PETG) parts (motor mounts and wing bays) should be double wall and high infill (25-100%)
Additional Info:
Give all control surfaces +- 35 degrees or more throw. Flaperons are questionable on this model, but they work well half-down
Setup motor rotation such that props rotate inwards towards the fuselage, for added torque roll during differential yaw
Takeoff and landing should be performed without flaperons
CG is marked under the wing, however is very forgiving +- 10mm
Max takeoff weight: 5kg. Ideal all-up-weight: 2.4kg
NO reflex needed on the tailerons (shocking, right?)
