Titan Dynamics Prometheus Assessed “Awardable” for DoW CDAO’s Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace
TORRANCE, California., March 10, 2026 — Titan Dynamics announces that its Prometheus aircraft auto-generation software has achieved “Awardable” status through the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office’s (CDAO) Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace.
The Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace is the premier offering of Tradewinds, the Department of War’s (DoW’s) suite of tools and services designed to accelerate the procurement and adoption of artificial intelligence, machine learning, data and analytics capabilities.
Prometheus is a physics-based aircraft design platform that automatically generates mission-specific unmanned aircraft from the ground up based on user-defined requirements. The system designs small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) using available components and supply chain constraints that the user can define, enabling rapid development of manufacturable platforms tailored to operational needs within minutes.
Unlike conventional design tools that rely on pre-engineered templates, Prometheus dynamically generates aircraft geometry and manufacturing outputs through computational design.
“There was a misunderstanding that Prometheus takes pre-engineered aircraft in a database and just proposes that as a solution, but it doesn’t,” said Michael Rouse, Lead Prometheus Engineer at Titan Dynamics. “Prometheus builds the aircraft from the ground up, automatically generating the aerodynamic geometry and CAD models needed to produce manufacturable components.”
The platform produces aerodynamic models, structural layouts and CAD files optimized for additive manufacturing, enabling rapid local production of mission-ready drone systems.
Prometheus has already been used by military organizations to design and produce unmanned aircraft tailored to specific operational requirements, reducing development timelines from concept to manufacturable aircraft to less than seven hours.
The approach represents a shift in how sUAS are developed. Rather than missions being constrained by existing platforms, Prometheus allows the platform to adapt to the mission.
Future development will expand the platform to automatically generate quadcopter and multirotor aircraft, further extending its ability to rapidly design mission-specific autonomous systems.
Titan Dynamics’ Prometheus was recognized among a competitive field of applicants to the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace whose solutions demonstrated innovation, scalability and potential impact on DoW missions.
